TERMS AND C0NDITIONS
OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS AIM TO PROVIDE YOU, OUR CUSTOMER, WITH THE VERY BEST SERVICE WE CAN OFFER.
PLEASE READ THEM, AND IF THERE IS ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO COMMENT ON, DON'T HESITATE TO CONTACT US, WE ARE ALWAYS HAPPY TO MAKE IMPROVEMENTS TO OUR SERVICE.
PAYMENT METHODS
We expect payment within 14 days of your order date or we reserve the right to re-advertise. We accept the following methods of payment:-
1) Cash
We accept UK pounds Sterling, US Dollars & EUROS if sent by a method that requires a signature on delivery. If sending cash you do so at your own risk.
2) Personal Cheques
Available to UK customers only with UK bank accounts.
Please make cheques payable to E Merino and include cheque card number.
Cheques take 7 days to clear.
3) Postal Orders
Available to UK customers only and purchased from the post office. Please cross postal orders and make them payable to E. Merino.
4) Bankers Draft
This is a cheque issued and guaranteed by a bank. Your bank will arrange payment by this method for you. Please ensure that the draft is made payable in UK £ Sterling to E Merino.
5) Credit Cards
Credit Cards are accepted, but currently only through Paypal which provides a safe and fast transfer.

Setting up an account is free and it is free to use your card to purchase using Paypal.
Not only can you use this account to pay us, but it is the standard method of payment through the internet auction house e-bay.

6) International Money Order
This form of payment is one of the most convenient for overseas customers and is available from most local post offices etc. Please ensure that the International Money Order (IMO) is made payable in UK £££ sterling and drawn on a UK bank. Please ask at your local post office as some charges maybe incurred.
IMO's will only be accepted up to a maximum value of £30.00. Contact us first if you need to send more than this amount.
POSTAGE, PACKING & DELIVERY
The cost of postage, packing and handling is additional.
All our postal charges for the UK include a 1ST class recorded delivery or special delivery service.
All our postal charges for EUROPE and WORLDWIDE customers DO NOT include insurance; this can be purchase at checkout for and additional £3.30.
We can quote for cheaper postage costs with slower delivery times or excluding insurance. Please note that for items sent without postal insurance, the customer will be responsible from the point of shipment. In this instance we would not be liable for any damage in the post - please contact us for further information.
We aim to ship within 3 days of payment clearance. During busy periods this may increase to 5 days.
RETURNS & COMPLAINTS
1) Damage
We must be notified within 48 hours of receipt of the goods of any damage. Please keep all packaging and paperwork.
We will discuss the issue with you. If goods are damaged we will either ask you to retain them so that the post office can inspect them or return them to us.
If asked to return them, please do so within 7 days.
They must be returned with original packaging and sent back by the same method that they were dispatched (i.e. recorded delivery etc).
Please obtain and retain a proof of posting from the Post Office. We will refund this postage cost to you.
Please note: Our overseas customers should NOT return any damaged goods to us, but wait for our instructions.
2) Lost Parcels
An e-mail will be sent with posting dates and details on dispatch.
Please contact us if you have not received your item within the following timescales:
UK Customers - 14 days
International Customers - 28 days
3) Autographs
We only sell autographs that we believe to be 100% genuine. We make all reasonable effort to investigate the authenticity of our items.
We do not sell pre-printed items unless it is specifically stated on our item description.
For your peace of mind we offer a money back guarantee on all autographs. This refund includes all postage costs.
These are the terms of that guarantee:
a) Items must be returned in the same condition that they were sold.
b) Items must be returned to us by the method they were sent out (Special Delivery or Recorded Delivery).
c) We must be notified of your intention to return an item within 12 weeks / 3 months of the dispatch date.
d) Items must be returned by the same buyer, refunds or credit notes will not be given to a third party.
e) Items must be returned with all the relevant paperwork including any certificates of authentication.
4) All other items
A refund or credit note would be offered for the following reasons:-
a) Unfair item description
b) Incorrect item sent out
These are the terms of a refund or credit note offer:
a) Items must be returned in the same condition that they were sold.
b) See item 3 above
c) We must be notified of your intention to return an item within 4 weeks / 1 months of the dispatch date.
d) & e) See item 3 above
In all cases where a refund has been agreed, it will be credited on the return of the goods.
PRIVACY STATEMENT
When visiting our website our hosting server automatically detects and logs the visitors IP address and the page that they have come from. All pages and
images viewed within our website are also logged in the same way. This information is used by us internally to review our own website and to find ways of improving it. Once used
this information is discarded, it is never passed or sold to any third party.
We use online forms to enable web visitors to contact us regarding our services that we offer and promote, all details are treated in strict confidence, they are held securely
within the company and never passed on or sold to any third party. By filling out a contact form you will be contacted by us regarding the matter you have requested. We do run a
mailing list to which subscribers are sent email concerning our services, you will only ever be added to this list by subscribing via the appropriate form.
We reserve the right to use information collected for an unanticipated use not previously disclosed, this will never involve any third party or disclosure of information, it will always be for an internal use. If you wish to opt out of this use you may do so at any time by contacting us.
You may also request your details to be updated or amended at any time by contacting us using the details below.
Security
All information collected from our websites arestored on machines within our own premises, they are protected by appropriate security measures conforming to our own internal security policy to ensure against any loss, tampering or misuse of information.
Viruses
All machines operated by us are run with a current virus checker installed and with up-to-date virus definitions, the machines are scanned on a regular basis to ensure that we don’t become infected or upload any infected files. We advise anyone using the internet to run their own virus checker as we cannot be held responsible or liable for any problems resulting in virus infection.
Cookies
We do not use cookies for any part of this web site or to use any of the facilities or pages held within it except as part of our e-commerce system.
Advertising
We do not carry external advertising as part of this website, all services advertised and promoted within these pages are operated by ourselves unless otherwise stated.
